Everyone at the start of their journey is not ready to invest the money as they are not sure if it will work out.

Today we will discuss everything one needs to know about images on a blog, including where to find, how to use it, and why to use it. Let's get started!

What is the blog content?

Blog content is whatever you add in your blog post to convey your piece of information. It can include text, images, and videos. And as said, content is king. Your text, images, and videos should also be unique and appealing for the audience to come back and revisit your blog.

Why use images in a blog?

Images play a very crucial part of blog content. No one likes to read large blocks of text unless it's an essay. As humans, we normally connect more with graphics, which is why images play an important role here. There are more chances of people liking and sharing your content when you have images on it. Also, images and videos improve the SEO ranking of your blog. So, never miss adding some images.

What type of images can a blog have?

Three types of images can be used in a blog. It includes a vector, an illustration, and a photo.

  • A vector is one generated by a device with accurate measurements and angles.
  • Illustrations are drawn by hand with the help of any electronic equipment.
  • As we all know, photos are of the following types - png, jpeg, gif, or raw pictures captured by the camera.
You can use any of this in your blog.

Is there plagiarism for images as well?

Yes. The concept of plagiarism is for your entire blog content. It includes your text, images, videos, etc. Whatever you include in your blog should be plagiarism-free. It means you have to make sure you don't include any copyrighted content.

Where to find copyright-free images?

There are many platforms available nowadays to get copyright-free images. We will discuss the top five websites you can refer to while searching for images.

Are these images free, or do I have to pay for it?

You can find both free and paid images on the internet. It all depends on how much you are willing to spend on your blog. As a matter of fact, everyone prefers free images before paid ones. The top five websites discussed below provide free images; you don't have to spend a penny on it.

How to use images in a blog?

Whatever platform you use, whether it be Blogger or WordPress, it provides an option to add a featured image. A featured image describes your blog, the first thing that the user will see before reading your blog, so make sure you choose an attractive one. That is the first option to use an image; the second option is to include your content to make it more interesting and authentic. Select some relatable images, something that goes with your content.
